Conversion

/

about

The title track of my first full length album. Conversion was recorded over ten days at The Sound Shelter in Franklin, Tennessee. I went into the studio with no idea what my album was going to sound like. No one in my band had heard these songs prior to the session. I handed out charts, we listened through the demo recording, and then we arranged and recorded the songs on the spot. My idea with this approach is that music is the most powerful and fun when it is first created. This album captures a moment in time and recording it changed my life. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to this project and brought my songs to life.

lyrics

The vibe never feels right when your head rests in your hands
The pressure building deep inside, no one understands

Why does the green come between the life I thought I'd lead?
18 years, no fears
You walked right in that's when it started to begin
conversion

They say it takes three weeks to form a habit
Well what about three years?
All this time spent running in circles
I can't break despite my fears

Why does the green come between the life I thought I'd lead?
18 years, no fears
You walked right in that's when it started to begin
conversion

Disease of mystery
Tangled up in history
Never be the same
