by Miss Christine

Entitled is the second single from my first full length album, Conversion. Conversion was recorded over ten days at The Sound Shelter in Franklin, Tennessee. I went into the studio with no idea what my album was going to sound like. No one in my band had heard these songs prior to the session. I handed out charts, we listened through the demo recording, and then we arranged and recorded the songs on the spot. My idea with this approach is that music is the most powerful and fun when it is first created. This album captures a moment in time and recording it changed my life. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed to this project and brought my songs to life.

Here comes just another guy, yeah here you come to say hi
You don’t even tell me you like me or my songs
But instantly I know what’s going on

On guard, defensive

Someone always has to take it there
You think the girls care, well they don't
Go be sad and lonely somewhere else
The only thing you're entitled to is yourself

Yeah, I know my purple hair is cute
But I didn't dye it that way for you
I'm not some play thing and I’m sure as hell no toy
Clearly you didn't learn that lesson as a boy

Numerous stories about your type
What can you do to make it right?

For starters show some class
No one likes a guy with their head up their ass
Secondly we're all human beings
Nothing works without both parties agreeing
Lastly, most important
The only thing you're entitled to
Go fuck yourself
